Interlibrary Loans
Loans and photocopies of material from the Institute's Library are available via interlibrary loan. Please contact your library to make arrangements.
Procedures and charges are based on the Australian Interlibrary Resource Sharing Code.
We are not a member of the CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme.
Receiving Requests
Our preference is that requests be placed through the Libraries Australia Document Delivery service. Please note:
- AIFS Library will accept EXPRESS or RUSH requests through the Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD) service.
- Only requests stipulated EXPRESS or RUSH will receive priority processing.
- The requesting library must notify AIFS by telephone when the request has been placed through LADD.
- Urgent requests will be treated as core interlibrary loan requests.
Charges for interlibrary loans
Our preferred method of payment is through the Libraries Australia Document Delivery payments service.
Overseas charges (except New Zealand)
Photocopies
$30.00 (AUD) payable by credit card
New Zealand
Photocopies and loans - $15.00 (AUD) for Core (standard) delivery.
Lost Items
Charges are calculated as the replacement cost of the item plus a $50.00 non-refundable administration charge.
