Over half of young Australians have experienced sexual harassment

Over half (54%) of young Australians, aged around 16 to 19, experienced sexual harassment in the last 12 months, according to a new report from the Australian Institute of Family Studies. Sexual harassment is a term that includes touching and grabbing, sexual remarks and showing sexually explicit images.

Study reveals positive settlement experiences, but also challenges for many refugees

Many refugees experience positive outcomes in their first decade of settlement in Australia, in terms of workforce participation, language proficiency and social cohesion, according to a new report by the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS).
