Overview

The National Elder Abuse Prevalence Study (NEAPS) is funded by the Australian Commonwealth Government Attorney-General’s Department and conducted by AIFS with the objective of strengthening the evidence base on elder abuse in Australia.

The NEAPS data are available to research projects that serve this objective, are scientifically and ethically sound, and contribute to the knowledge base on elder abuse.

Who can apply?

Researchers (including post-graduate students) affiliated with a university, recognised research institute or government department are eligible to apply to access and use the NEAPS data.
