AIFS has built relationships and associations with a vast range of Australian and international organisations and government agencies. These partnerships help to maintain the Institute's reputation as the premier research agency for delivering high-quality research into family wellbeing. 


AIFS has Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with government departments and agencies,  Australian universities and not-for-profit organisations. 

We also have a tripartite MoU with DSS and the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for the operation of the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children.

The Institute is a member of the DSS Social Policy Research and Evaluation Panel. Currently, there are six active project specifications developed under the DSS MoU.
