The report from Foodbank Australia discusses the extent of food insecurity in Australia.

This report has been published by Foodbank Australia. It estimates that 3.6 million Australians (or 15% of the population) have experienced food insecurity at least once in the last 12 months, with 3 in 5 of these individuals experiencing food insecurity at least once a month.

The report also found that it is not only the unemployed or homeless that experience food insecurity, with nearly 50% of those reporting food insecurity being employed in some way.
