Report—A better family law system to support and protect those affected by family violence

This report calls for improvements to the family law system to better support and protect those affected by family violence.

This report has been published by the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Social Policy and Legal Affairs.

The report presents the findings of the Australian parliamentary inquiry into a better family law system to support and protect those affected by family violence and makes recommendations to improve the response of the family law system. It argues for a new family law system which is accessible, equitable and responsive, and which prioritises the safety of families.
