Report—Lifting our game: Report of the review to achieve educational excellence in Australian schools through early childhood interventions

This report considers and makes recommendations on the most effective interventions in early childhood for achieving academic success later in life.

This independent report was commissioned by the state and territory governments of Australia.

The report, led by Susan Pascoe AM and Professor Deborah Brennan, was commissioned to complement the Commonwealth Government’s Review to Achieve Educational Excellence in Australian Schools. The report provides recommendations on the most effective interventions in early childhood, with a focus on school readiness, improving achievement in schools and future success in employment or further education.
