Domestic, family and sexual violence reduction strategy: Action plan 1 (2018-2021)

5 March 2019

The Northern Territory Government has released an action plan that outlines its ten year strategy to reduce domestic, family and sexual violence.

This action plan has been published by the Northern Territory Government.

This is the first of three plans to implement the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Reduction Framework 2018–2028.

It identifies four key focus areas for the next three years:

  • Challenging the values, norms, attitudes and behaviours that drive domestic, family and sexual violence
  • Understanding the role of key early responders and building their capacity
  • Strengthening the specialist domestic, family and sexual violence sector
  • Building a stronger shared understanding of the needs of victims and perpetrators.

Access the plan via the Territory Families website.
