This strategy paper aims to help develop community-controlled out-of-home care services in Central Australia.

This paper has been published by the SNAICC - National Voice for our Children and the Central Australia Aboriginal Community-Controlled Out-of-home Care Strategy Steering Committee.

It presents the executive summary of an Aboriginal community-led strategy to develop community-controlled out-of-home care services in Central Australia.

The strategy aims to restore cultural authority and empower Aboriginal communities to lead and direct the policies, programs and practices that are developed to promote the care and protection of Aboriginal children.
