Improving the odds for WA's vulnerable children and young people

4 June 2019

This report summarises key messages of a series of conversations focused on addressing children's and young people's vulnerability in WA.

This report has been published by the Commissioner for Children and Young People, Western Australia.

It outlines the findings of the Commissioner's Vulnerability Speaker Series held throughout 2018 that aimed to think about the causes of vulnerability and how to address these factors for children and young people.

A key recommendation of the report is to establish a statewide Child Wellbeing Strategy for Western Australia, with a priority on targeted, early intervention for vulnerable children, young people and their families.
