Parenting in the digital age

Parenting in the digital age

18 June 2019

This report explores parents' experiences and knowledge of online risks and supports.

This report is published by the Australian eSafety Commissioner.

This report presents the findings of a survey of 3,520 parents on their knowledge of online risks and threats, and their confidence in helping their children navigate online challenges.

Though almost all of these parents regarded their child's online safety as being important, only 46% felt confident to deal with potential online threats and only the same number again knew where to get help.
