16 July 2019

This report summarises feedback received in consultations about how best to introduce mandatory child-safe standards in New South Wales.

This report has been published by the Office of the Children's Guardian, New South Wales.

The report presents findings from consultations held with experts, organisations, peak bodies, and children and young people and their families on how best to introduce mandatory child-safe standards into organisations that work with children.

Feedback was invited on how to regulate the sector, how organisations can be helped to be child safe, and the sorts of monitoring and enforcement powers that should be available.
