Inquiry into early childhood engagement of culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Victoria

Inquiry into early childhood engagement of culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Victoria

1 August 2019

The Victorian Government is seeking community input into how best to engage CALD communities in early childhood services.

The inquiry is being conducted by the Legislative Assembly Legal and Social Issues Committee of the Parliament of Victoria.

Submissions are invited from culturally diverse families with young children, organisations and stakeholders, regarding involvement in health services, early childhood education and care, early years of schooling, local community programs, and child and family support services.

An important focus for the inquiry will be how involvement in these services and programs can help children and their families feel connected with their local communities.

The closing date for submissions is 11 October 2019.
