8 August 2019

This guide provides advice on handling complaints in child-safe organisations.

This guide has been prepared by the Office of the NSW Ombudsman on behalf of the National Office for Child Safety.

This guide provides advice to organisations about how to develop, implement and maintain a complaint-handling system that prioritises child safety and rights.

It has been developed for a wide range of organisations that work with children, including small service providers, sporting clubs and large government agencies. An information sheet and reference guide have also been published.

Access the resources via the National Office for Child Safety website.
