Connected: A community approach to bullying prevention within the school gates and beyond

This strategy report presents a whole-of-community approach to preventing childhood bullying in South Australia.

This report has been published by the Department of Education, South Australia.

The report sets out South Australia's plan to address childhood peer bullying and promote student safety and wellbeing.

It takes the view that bullying is a social issue, and outlines a plan involving:

  • new resources and training for teachers, students and families
  • increasing compliance with bullying prevention policy requirements and school accountability
  • collaboration with non-traditional partners, such as local councils, community services and other government departments.
