Western Australian women's health and wellbeing policy: Lifting the health profile of women and girls

This policy document sets out Western Australia's vision to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of women and girls.

This policy has been published by the Western Australian Department of Health.

The document explains the objectives and principles of the policy, as well as the priority health and wellbeing issues and target populations.

The policy has four priority areas:

  • chronic conditions and healthy ageing
  • the health and wellbeing impacts of gender-based violence
  • maternal, reproductive and sexual health
  • mental health and wellbeing.
