29 October 2019

This report sets out a plan to improve the safety of women on temporary visas who are being subjected to family violence.

This report has been published by Australian Women Against Violence Alliance (AWAVA).

The report sets out recommendations for action so that women experiencing family violence can access protections, services and justice regardless of their migration status.

The report has been developed by the National Advocacy Group on Women on Temporary Visas Experiencing Violence, a network of over 50 state and national peak bodies, service providers and other organisations working to address violence against women across Australia.

Access the report via the AWAVA website.
