National Homelessness Conference

Event dates: 10-12 August 2020, Canberra, ACT.

This conference will be hosted by the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) in conjunction with Homelessness Australia.

This conference is aimed at policy makers, health and mental health professionals, peak industry representatives, housing providers and front-line workers.

It will explore a broad range of issues related to homelessness, including:

  • social and affordable housing policy
  • responding to the causes of homelessness such as domestic and family violence
  • specialist support such as working with clients with disability, mental health issues and people leaving custody
  • financial inclusion.
