A new COVID-19 telephone support service is available for people with disability and their families and support workers.

This resource has been established by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.

This helpline provides information, counselling and outreach services for people with disability who are concerned about or affected by coronavirus. Reasons for calling could include a support worker failing to turn up or difficulty in obtaining essential items like food or medications. 

The Helpline is available Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7pm (AEST) on 1800 643 787.
