Celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family strengths

Celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family strengths

18 June 2020

Services are invited to share stories of positive parenting from North and Far North Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This resource is produced by the Queensland Family and Child Commission (QFCC).

The Families are First initiative in Queensland is collecting stories to share and build the understanding of culture and connection in child-rearing.

Individuals and communities were first invited to participate, but now programs and organisations such as schools, health services, and family and child services are also being encouraged to contribute stories and examples.

More information available on the QFCC website.
