This report has been published by Mission Australia.
The report presents findings from an annual survey that explores the issues of concern to young people. 25,800 young people aged 15-19 years old took part in the survey in 2020.
Mental health continues to be a key issue for young people, and this year saw a growing interest also in discrimination in society. The young people named equity and discrimination, COVID-19, and mental health as the 3 main issues facing Australia. The top 3 personal concerns were coping with stress, mental health, and body image.
