Lived experience framework – Principles and practices for lived experience partnerships
This framework sets out how community service organisations can partner with people with lived experiences.
This resource has been published by the Western Australian Council of Social Service (WACOSS).
The framework outlines principles and practices for working with people and advocates who have lived experience in a range of different areas.
It holds that people have a right to influence the systems that affect them, and that people with a lived experience - or 'context expertise' - can play a critical role in designing, implementing and evaluating policies and programs.
