Family Matters survey

Help Family Matters continue to matter: tell us what you think

Family Matters has been the Australian Institute of Family Studies’ journal for over 35 years. Its mission is to present contemporary research and debate on issues affecting families. It is published twice a year and is available in print and as a free download from our website.

Since 1980, when AIFS published its first Newsletter, the practice of research communication has changed profoundly. As Family Matters approaches its 100th issue, we are embarking on a timely and holistic review of the journal: its role, its format and its readership.

As a valued reader of, and perhaps contributor to, Family Matters, we ask if you can spare 10 minutes to tell us a little about yourself and what you feel about Family Matters. Do you use it, how do you use it, what works for you, and what can we do to improve it?

Thank you so much for your time. Your input will help to ensure that Family Matters maintains its quality and relevance for the next generation of readers.
