Mary joined the Institute in 2010 after completing her undergraduate degree at La Trobe University.  Her honours thesis focused on gender, cultural images and young women's sexual agency, which she explored in qualitative interviews. Mary's specialist research areas include: gender, sexual violence, violence against women and gendered cultural images.
