Dr Meredith O’Connor is an education and developmental psychologist specialising in understanding healthy development over the life course, with an emphasis on practice- and policy-relevant research. Her doctoral research used data from the Australian Temperament Project to explore  the transition from adolescence to adulthood, and what it means to be doing well during this time. At AIFS, Meredith is apart of the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children research team. She is also a Senior Research Officer at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, where she uses population data from the Australian Early Development Census to explore healthy transitions to school.
