Dr Nerida Joss leads the Child and Family Evidence program at AIFS. In this role, she has oversight of the Child Family Community Australia (CFCA) information exchange and AIFS’ contribution to the National Workforce Centre for Child Mental Health (Emerging Minds). The program also leads the knowledge translation and research impact efforts across the Institute.

Nerida is an experienced public health researcher and evaluator with skills in evidence synthesis, mixed methods research, stakeholder engagement and co-production. For the past 20 years, Nerida has worked in knowledge translation and impact roles across the academic, not for profit, government and corporate sectors to enable evidence-informed decision-making for policy, practice and societal impact.
