Dr Sarah Gray joined the Growing Up in Australia: Longitudinal Study of Australian Children (LSAC) research team in 2017. She is a child psychologist with research interests in children’s learning and cognitive development and understanding factors that influence children’s educational and developmental outcomes.
Sarah also works at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, where she has gained experience using population and longitudinal data sources to better understand disparities in school outcomes, with a focus on policy-relevant research.
Sarah completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Melbourne. Her research examined preschool children’s maths abilities, with the findings having important implications for the early identification of maths learning difficulties.
