Overview

This book provides details of mothers' workforce participation during the pre-school years, how children were cared for on their mothers' first re-entry to the workforce and throughout the preschool years, why particular forms of child care were chosen, and satisfaction with the choices made. Some of the areas where problems might be expected in relation to child care are considered. Experience of the kindergarten year is also examined.
