Overview

The paper analyses information obtained from a short survey in September 1982 of Family Court practices in regard to the welfare of and provision for children in divorce cases. The analysis indicates variations between judges and between registries in the calling of evidence, who was called to give evidence, the types of action arising from Form 4 cases, adjournments and the use of counselling.
