Overview

Berwick is a local government area situated 40-50 kilometres to the south east of Melbourne. It is one of the fourteen sites of the Australian Living Standards Study conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies. This report provides information relating to the use of pre-schools and child care in Berwick. The report covers: Work related child care for pre-school and primary school children, formal and informal care, hours of child care used, travelling to and from child care, costs of child care, fee relief, satisfaction with child care, care of sick children, care before or after school and during school holidays, playgroups and preschools.
