Overview
These workshop papers address two main areas: the medical perspective of infertility and its treatment and the dilemmas for the child and the community. The social and psychological implications of infertility and its effects on families are discussed particularly in relation to programs and services to assist or treat infertile people. A particular focus of the workshop was the future welfare of children born as a result of technologically assisted pregnancies.
A report of proceedings of a national Workshop held in September 1981, jointly sponsored by the Institute of Family Studies and the Citizen's Welfare Service of Victoria.
