Overview

This report summarises the final results of the five-year Capital Indexed Loan Evaluation Study (CAPIL) conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies on behalf of the Department of Planning and Housing Victoria. Background information is provided about the CAPIL scheme, which aimed to provide families with an affordable alternative to conventional loan arrangements. Key findings resulting from the third round of interviews with the CAPIL families are presented.
