Deborah Osborne

Deborah Osborne recently joined AIFS in November 2022 as a Research Officer working within the Evidence and Evaluation Support team. She has a professional clinical background, working previously as a Registered Paediatric/ Neonatal Nurse providing family centred care for families in both a regional and metropolitan tertiary hospital setting.

Deborah has a Master of Public Health majoring in program health evaluation. Her early research work included working with projects that had a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and most recently working within a quantitative data collection team for a longitudinal cohort social network study at the Burnet Institute. Deborah’s professional interests include qualitative participatory research methods and building health literacy capacity, particularly for culturally linguistically diverse families.
