Child & Family Evidence

Dr Joanna Schwarzman project manages AIFS' contribution to the Emerging Minds project, including overseeing evidence reviews and the development of practice resources and undertaking evaluation activities for Emerging Minds.

Joanna’s skills and experience are in program planning, evaluation and bringing people together to generate greater impact for the community. She has developed these working in government and non-government organisations, across health promotion, primary health care, aged care and disability services.

Joanna’s research and professional interests are focused on the generation and use of evidence in Australian health, social and community organisations. This includes evaluation capacity building, evidence-informed decision making and translation of research for use in policy and practice.
