Kristel Alla
Child & Family Evidence
Dr Kristel Alla is a senior researcher and a knowledge translation specialist who works for the Child and Family Evidence team. Her work involves research and knowledge translation activities across a range of research projects that aim to improve child and family wellbeing.
Kristel’s professional experience includes communication, research and policy relevant roles across academic and government sectors. Kristel has completed a doctoral thesis that focused on defining and measuring the impact of research on mental health policies in Australia. Her recent research projects have explored infant mental health, the effects of physical punishment on children, and how spending time in nature improves the mental health of children and families.
