Child and Family Evidence and Evaluation

Lewis Munro is a Research Officer in the Child Family Community Australia information exchange at the Australian Institute of Family Studies.

Lewis is working on the Capability Building for Community Mental Health project, developing practice-focused resources and training to increase the capability and efficiency of Family Mental Health Support Services (FMHSS) workers who deliver non-clinical counselling supports.

Before working at AIFS Lewis was completing his Honours degree in psychology. Lewis’s thesis explored intergenerational contact across the lifespan. Lewis's areas of interest include evidence synthesis and knowledge translation related to models of public health, neurodiversity, and health promotion.

Lewis has a background in social science and psychology with experience in drug and alcohol youth work, NDIS support work, social and emotional wellbeing case management, and outdoor education for a wide variety of community organisations.
