Megerssa Walo

Child & Family Evidence
Dr Megerssa Walo is a social researcher with interdisciplinary research expertise in social cohesion, social inclusion, migration and employment, enterprising women, and place-based development. He is currently a Research Fellow in the Child & Family Evidence team.
Megerssa has a strong background in mixed research methods, stakeholder engagement and consultation, and a track record of developing quality research outputs through development and production of publications and resources for policy and service sectors.
Prior to joining AIFS in August 2022, Megerssa worked at Swinburne University as a Research Fellow and other government and not-for-profit organisations conducting research and evaluation.
