This submission relates to Schedules 1 and 2 of the Bill. AIFS supports the aim of schedules 1 and 2 to “ensure the property and financial aspects of relationship breakdown are resolved safely and fairly” and “to enhance the operation of Children’s Contact Services” (Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia, Explanatory Memorandum, 2024, p. 4).
