Research timeline
The Ten to Men study has been running for more than 10 years. Ten to Men is a longitudinal study, so we aim to survey the same group of males every few years.
Ten to Men was commissioned in 2011 by the Department of Health and Aged Care to inform the National Male Health Policy.
The University of Melbourne conducted the study from its beginning in 2011 through to 2017.
Since late 2017 the Australian Institute of Family Studies have managed the study in collaboration with the Social Research Centre (SRC) as fieldwork partners.
