Evidence and Evaluation Support

Building service providers' capacity to plan, implement and evaluate programs for families and children

About Evidence and Evaluation Support (EES)

AIFS' EES team (formerly the Expert Panel Project) works with Families and Children (FaC) Activity service providers to help build their capacity to plan, implement and evaluate programs for families and children, and to incorporate evidence-based approaches into practice. The team offers web-based resources, training and advice, and tailored one-on-one support.

Although the team mainly works with service providers funded under the Department of Social Services’ (DSS) FaC Activity, our resources are available to everyone.

Online resources

EES resources cover a range of program planning, implementation and evaluation topics, tailored to people working across the child and family wellbeing sector. Practice resources include short topic summaries and ‘how-to’ guides. We also publish webinars that focus on discussing what works in practice.
