Inquiry into grandparents who take primary responsibility for raising their grandchildren

Grandparents who take primary responsibility for raising their grandchildren: What do we know, what do we need to know and how might we find out? The key aims of this submission are to: to provide a brief overview of research into the prevalence of, and circumstances experienced by, families in which grandparents have the primary responsibility for raising their grandchildren; to identify gaps in research; and to suggest a methodology for addressing these gaps.
