Joey is a Principal Data Officer – Integration in the Data Integration, Governance and Strategy (DIGS) team. With over 18 years’ experience across local government and BioGrid Australia/Melbourne Health, Joey specialises in database administration, data linkage, and governance, and has managed complex health datasets at a national scale.
At AIFS, Joey introduced probabilistic record linkage using Python for the GENERATION‑AEDC (Australian Early Development Census) project and supports GENERATION‑NAPLAN data harmonisation and SHOAMP (Study of Health Outcomes in Aircraft Maintenance Personnel) Biobank reconciliation, strengthening AIFS’s data quality, scalability, and innovation.
