Dr Jody Hughes manages the Defence & Veteran Family Research team, which is undertaking several studies of defence force families. Jody worked at AIFS between 1997 and 2006 and returned in 2021 after 15 years working in research roles in the not-for-profit sector and Commonwealth Government including in the Department of Social Services and National Indigenous Australians Agency. Jody has an interest in policy research and improved evaluation of government services and programs.
