Sarah Hawkes
Research Officer | Quantitative methods and modelling
Sarah Hawkes is a Research Officer in the Quantitative methods and modelling team at AIFS. She joined the organisation in 2025 through the Australian Government Graduate Program, initially working as a Data Officer in the Data Linkage and Integrating Authority before transitioning to her current role.
Sarah developed the Spatial Address Recognition and Allocation Hub, which geocodes addresses and links them to place-based data such as:
- ASGS codes
- SEIFA scores
- distance to resources
- distance to the coast.
Sarah has experience and interest in geospatial data, data visualisation, and data analysis.
