American Evaluation Association (AEA)
The American Evaluation Association is an international professional association of evaluators devoted to the application and exploration of program evaluation, personnel evaluation, technology, and many other forms of evaluation.
The EYC was established in 2011 to replace the ARACY Early Years Learning and Development Network (EYLDN) and National Investment for the Early Years (NIFTeY).

A non-profit organisation that seeks to bring about better futures for Australia's children and young people. ARACY promotes and supports collaborations between researchers, policy-makers and practitioner. The organisation has a strong focus upon utilizing research to inform policy, practice and behavior change.
California Evidence Based Clearinghouse for Children Welfare (CEBC)
Provides information about selected "child welfare related" programs. One feature of the CEBC is its list of Screening and Assessment tools which provides information about assessment tools, such as the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ).
Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) - Royal Children's Hospital
The CCCH conducts research into early childhood development and behavior. The Centre has a specific focus upon supporting and strengthening community based professionals and organisations working with families and children and produces a range of accessible, evidence-based resources for those audiences including a regular series of policy briefs. The Centre produces a regular series of Policy Briefs; concise summaries of issues of relevance to early childhood. They also provide access to Practice Resources (link is external) that outline practical strategies for professionals who work with young children and their families on topics such as breastfeeding and eating behaviour.
Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (UK) - The London School of Economics and Political Science
The focus of the Centre for Analysis of Social Exclusion (CASE) is on exploration of different dimensions of social disadvantage, particularly from longitudinal and neighbourhood perspectives, and examination of the impact of public policy. The Centre conducts specific research projects and publishes a series of discussion papers, CASEpapers, and a series of CASEbriefs, which summarise the research.

MDRC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan education and social policy research organization dedicated to learning what works to improve programs and policies that affect the poor. MDRC is best known for mounting large-scale demonstrations and evaluations of real-world policies and programs targeted to low-income people. On this site you'll find a range of reports, video presentations and fact sheets relating to families and children, work, education and welfare.
National collaboration for families - Family Strengthening Policy Centre
Aims to make family strengthening a priority by mainstreaming neighborhood-based, family-centered practices, programs and policy. The Center's objective is to promote family policy that contributes to family economic and social empowerment. Program Evaluation : Synthesis of lessons learned by child neglect demonstration projects (PDF 264 KB)
In 1996 and 1997 the United States' Children's Bureau funded 10 demonstration projects addressing the prevention, intervention and treatment needs of neglected children and their families. This synthesis summarises the challenges, strategies and lessons learned in relation to the program evaluations conducted by the projects. Social Care Institute for Excellence (UK)

Telethon Kids Institute
The Telethon Kids Institute (formerly know as the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research) is a multidisciplinary research centre in Subiaco, WA. WA Centre for Health Promotion Research
The Centre for Health Promotion Research is a multi-disciplinary centre within the Division of Health Science at Curtin University, which conducts applied research and provides consultancy evaluation, education, training and curriculum support services to government and non-government health and education organisations.
What works clearinghouse (WCC) - Institute of Education Sciences, US Department of Education
WWC issues a range of publications designed to assist educators of children at all stages of their education. In early childhood education, publications include intervention reports that evaluate research on curricula and instructional strategies for 3-5 year old children, and also specifically for those with disabilities. Practice guides provide practical recommendations for educators.
