Gabriel Tillman

Gabriel is a Senior Research Officer in the Australian Gambling Research Centre (AGRC). He has over 10 years’ experience as a researcher where he investigated the cognition and neurophysiology behind decision-making, cognitive load, reading, phonetic perception, word recognition and visual search. He has explored a range of digital phenotypes that predict symptoms and treatment response in mood disorders.
In his research, Gabriel uses a range of statistical analysis techniques including computational modelling, machine learning, and Bayesian analysis. His role in the AGRC involves conducting research on gambling behaviour, trends, harms, prevention and treatment in order to inform policy development.
