The Family Law DOORS
This article addresses criticisms of the Family Law DOORS (FL-DOORS) whole-of-family risk screening tool designed for use across the family law sector, following on from an earlier evaluation study by the Australian Institute for Family Studies that claimed only limited take-up of the tool, and presents new evidence on current use of and research with the FL-DOORS, referring to data from over 7,200 cases.

Adolescent children and their parents
The authors report findings based on reports of adolescent school students, adolescent school leavers and their parents who participated in the Australian Institute of Family Studies' Australian Living Standards Study, that asked questions such as how often parents and adolescent children argue, what they argue about, whether they like each other and how they view their relationships with one another.
