Privacy Impact Assessment Register
The Privacy Impact Assessment Register records details of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies since 1 July 2018.
As an Australian Government agency, the Australian Institute of Family Studies has an obligation under Australian Government Agencies Privacy Code to conduct a PIA for all high privacy-risk activities and to maintain a PIA register for publication on its website.
The PIA is conducted on all projects that:
- involve a significant change to how we manage personal information;
- might have a significant impact on the privacy of individuals.
The table below provides details of PIAs completed by AIFS since the Code came into effect on 1 July 2018.
