This article introduces 'Building a New Life in Australia', a large-scale longitudinal study of humanitarian migrants and their settlement journey. The first wave of data collection commenced in late 2013, and Wave 3 has recently been completed. The article describes the dataset as well as the measures available and their potential uses.
