This report is an evaluation of the Third Action Plan of the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and Their Children. It was commissioned by the Department of Social Services (DSS). Its key aims were to explore progress in the implementation of the six Priority Areas of the plan, and identify the main successes, challenges and lessons arising from its implementation.
The evaluation drew on a range of research methods and data sources. Methods included analysis of government documentation, a review of relevant evaluation literature, consultations with a range of key stakeholders, and a review of relevant published survey data.
